OK my ddr ram didnt work, got some new ram and now my computer wont turn on(it ll turn on but do nothing nothing comes up on screen or anything jst hear it power up and cpu fans go slowly(way slower than usual))

origional 1gig of ram(2-512 sticks duel channel)
now 1 stick of 256(jst for tempory untill i can afford new ram) the new 256 ram is outa another computer so i know it works
