RAM problems which software to test it?

Hey guys and girls hows it going? I think that my RAM maybe bad. How would i go about testing it.
What happened was my computer wasn't booting up and i took the RAM out and reseated it and then it started up normally.

Could you guys recommend me some good software apps that i could use?

Let it run through a few times if there are no errors on the first pass (I'd suggest letting it run overnight)
