Ram question with New Mobo and AMD Ryzen 3900X

So I am finally building a new computer for video and audio editing and I decided on the Ryzen 3900X and the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Master. My goal is to install 64 gbs of RAM, but I am unsure on how to best do this with this motherboard

- is 64 vs 32 overkill?
- are 2 memory rams better than using 4 with this motherboard?
Any suggestions will be welcomed.

If your workload frequently uses over 32GB, no. Otherwise, yes.

are 2 memory rams better than using 4 with this motherboard?

Trade-off, single rank sticks can clock a bit higher, but have less capacity. I feel like a 32G x2 kit would still leave you room to expand in the future and should still operate at the rated clocks.
