RAM question

Okay so I'm deciding weather to go with 6GB of RAM or 4GB. I am buying the RAM from Computer Deli and they have a DDR3 12800 2048Mx3 or a DDR3 12800 2048Mx2. My question is if I go with the 6GB of RAM, will it work in my motherboard? The motherboard is a AMD Asus M4A88TD-M. I haven't had luck with RAM in the past so if someone could explain how all this channeling stuff works that would be great

go with 4 gigs. I don't know how to explain the technical side of how the channels work but for your motherboard you can pick up a dual channel kit and that should work for you.

AMD is Dual Channel. Go with 2 or 4 sticks.
