RAM Speed Downgradeable?

I'm working on a *whisper* Hewlett-Packard desktop. The RAM installed runs at 133 MHZ. If I install RAM that runs at 466, will it work? I expect that it'll never run at 466, but will it work? This thing has 128 MB of RAM with WinXP, and yeah... It needs it. Help!

466? you mean changing your SD out with DDR? if so, no it will not work....

133 is as high as it goes you might try to overclock it...

It's not my computer. I wouldn't risk it.

On my machine, I just run Linux and only need about 82 MB of RAM.

is it SD-RAM or DDR RAM? they were both available in 133MHz
if you have DDR pc133, then you should be able to get pc3200 and put it in.
( what ive heard. everything over pc3200 is DDR2 already, wich has a different slot again.

to bad i dont live in the US, if it was SD RAM, i have 1Gb over here in my old pc. you could have 512Mb of it
