Ram sticks

Hey everyone,

I have done little work on computers so I'm not very knowlagable but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if you'd know if a 256MB, SDR DIMM, H32ZHS stick of ram would work for a Gateway MIDWAY 4000820 mother board. Sorry if the information is too vauge the ram sticks are about a year old that I put into a dell then I purchaced a new computer and just want a little more kick in it.

well what u need to do is, pull the ram outta the gateway and see if it is the same type that u are wanting to put into it.

what happened with it is that i installed that ram from my old dell and threw away the boxing and info for it so do you think i should look up the compatable ram from my old dell and compair it to my gateway?

no just pull the ram outta the gateway and see what speed it is prolly something like pc2100 or pc3200

or you can line them up and see if they have the same indentations on the bottom and if they are the same length
