Ram support

Guys,

I'm upgrading my brothers desktop memory(ftp://europe.asrock.com/manual/H61M-VS.pdf) which he currently has 4GB both DIMM slots being used up. I would like to replace it with the following , Corsair 8GB DDR3 1600MHz Vengeance Blue Memory (http://www.ebuyer.com/407273-corsair-8gb-ddr3-1600mhz-vengeance-blue-memory-cmz8gx3m1a1600c10b ) can somebody confirm if their are any compatability issues with this model of ram please or any issues i need to be aware off?

It should work.
If your brother is running a 32 bit OS the comp will only see 4 GB.

Oh sorry forgot to mention he is runing Windows 7 64bit edition, thx.

UPDATE: Actually it won't work since it is only capable of 1333/1066.

Yes, it will work. It will natively clock the memory at 1333MHz, however you can simply set the correct speed in the BIOS so it operates at 1600
