I have 6GB of triple channel Corsair TR3X6G @ 723MHz 10-10-10-27 and have been told that better timings will improve performance, is this true & if so how do I go about it?
If this is DDR3 1333mhz ram, you already have it overclocked to 1446 mhz. If you want better timings then you would need different ram. What is the exact ram you have?
On most RAM kits you can tighten up the timings a bit or add additional voltage for a little more stability.
The ones you want to look at are the ones you had listed, start in order with CL->tRCD->tRP->tRAS. CL10 at 1333 is a little latent so you may have some room for improvement. It also looks like that kit is rated for 9-9-9-24 at 1.5V.
Also, improving the frequency/clock-speed also lowers your total RAM latency. If you were able to bump it to 1600 at 10-10-10 it would be a little less latent than tighter timings at 1333 9-9-9 or similar.
