Hello I guess Im new to these forums, but I really needed some help and I really like talking about computers I know the basics but I really want to learn more, what better place then forums for computers.

So the thing is I have a computer with
Motherboard-gigabyte GA-K8NSC-939

Processer

And I have the speed I need for everything I could want I don’t really do games but its fun to impress my friends with a really fast computer I have zero lag issues right now but I would like to upgrade to vista and I don’t want any problems in the future so I was wondering when updating my ram should I stay with hyperx cards or should I just get basic ram cards I’ve seen three cards that would work very good in my system and give my computer that extra boost. what im really asking is if its even worth upgrading will i see enough speed improvment to spend the money?

Ok two gigs again but yeah same with the first explanation.

I advise to always stay with the same brand of RAM stick in your computer, You never know if one has speed differences between the modules and actually hinders the performance. Windows XP handles very stably up too 4GB or ram. Not to sure on vista though. Well when it comes to brand of course the NAME brand will always perform better but you may not always notice.:)

If you plan to run Vista plan to upgrade your RAM. Vista need 2GB min to run fast. I'm planning to upgrade my new laptop from 2GB to 4GB (even though Vista 32bit will only read 3GB).
