Ram upgrade

I am considering buying a Toshiba C650D 114, This has a Athlon P320 processor, but only 2Gb of Ram, Does anyone know if this model has one piece of 2gb and then an empty slot, or does it have 2 pieces of 1GB as standard?
I want to stick another 2Gb in to speed it up.
Thanks for any info.
 
What program are you going to run that requires more than 2048 megabytes of memory? 2 gigabytes is a decent amount of RAM especially for laptops.
 
Firstly, I looked at a Toshiba C650D 115, which has a single core V120 processor and 3Gb Ram, I opened up Windows Media centre and it was very quick in opening it up, I also looked did the same test with a Hp compaq cq61-405 that had a faster v140 processor with only 2Gb Ram and it was significantly slower,
So, I reasoned that the Toshiba C650D 114 with the dual core processor would benefit with just another 1Gb, Does that make sense?
