My current pc is running 512mb DDR-SDRAM PC2700 RAM CAS 2.5, and I want to at least double that. My question is whether or not I can install PC3200 CAS 2.0 DDR-SDRAM in addition to what I already have. Thanks for the help,

Tom

So there's no real benefit? Thanks, what about the CAS 2.5 to 2.0 will that make much of a difference?

Tom

Yes, you can get PC3200 it will just be downclocked to PC2700.
If your motherboard can only support PC2700, then you can still use the 3200 but will be downclocked.
You would only see a difference between CL2.5 and CL2 if your a gamer or an overclocker.
