ram, what to do?

Ok, I"m looking at upgrading my ram from 1gb to 2gb.

I'm running a single 1gb stick of samsung DDR2-SDRAM PC2-4300 (266 MHz) ram.

My Board only supports 533 mhz ram since it's a rev 1.0.

Crucial is saying that my board only supports 512 mb per slot and that my board can support higher speeds? I"m confused, would someone be able to clear this up for me?

Well the board supports up to 2gb and has 4 slots. So since your running a 1gb stick now I would say it will read two 1gb sticks or four 512mbs

yea it must be a maximum amount of memory of 2gb... not maximum of 512 per stick.
