i have 512 megs of ram wee 48a actually because of the stupid onboard video... anyways as you can see with only everst runnin im using more the 1/3 of my ram...



can i close some of these aplications running in the background to make my computer go faster? also if i get one more 512 stick will it make my computer faster? because i still have 30% left for widows to acces?

Getting another 512MB of ram will deffinetly help.

And you have alot of processes that are using up memory, such as several HP processes which are using 10MB+, a few un-necessary things, and McAfee is using 30MB+.

get rid of aim triton, dont use it. it takes up a good amoutn of proccesor usage and it sucks.

agreed, i hate the new AIM Triton. It takes forever to close out of the thing
