Random drop is wifi strength

Ive had a problem recently where my wifi connection has dropped from 5 bars to 2 and is not regaining that 5 again, i can browser the internet but whenver i try to play league of legends i can not even log in
If anyone can help me with this that would be great
 
Did you perhaps update wireless driver recently? How far away are you from the router? What router do you have?
 
Did your wireless router change location? Did you get a new one? Have you moved from where you used to get 5 bars to a new location? Did you get a new device?
 
All fixed with a new modem
I tried updating the drivers, degrading to early version of driver, change position in the house, changing my isp and rebooting my computer all didnt work until i went shopping on boxing day sales and got a brand new modem

A new modem has zero to do with your WiFi signal, you must have gotten a modem/wireless router combo. Also, why would you change your ISP before replacing or troubleshooting hardware?
