Random laptop reboots

my laptop likes to restart randomly during the windows XP boot screen, and its very, very annoying. the laptop is a Toshiba Satellite 1800-5204 (or S204, not sure which, the text on it is odd.)
It gives me a BSOD, but it only flashes for less than a second, and its impossible to get an error code.
any ideas?

I take it it only happens once in a while and you can still start your comp. got to start, right click my comp, go to properties, advanced, start up and recovery, and uncheck automaticaly reboot. Than post what error you get next time

if you have the classic start menu the my computer icon would be on your desktop instead of in the start menu but the rest is the same
