Random monitor shut off.

Hey Everyone.

Just got another question I wanna throw everyone's way.
Finally got my first build up and running and updating all of my drivers. I've run into a issue a couple times now, that my monitor will just shut itself off and and be unresponsive until I reset the whole system itself...

I was thinking that it was my driver for my video card, but it did it once with a older driver and again with a newer driver.

It's also to be noted that both times it occured at the end of a download.

Has anyone else had this problem before.

Any insight would be appreciated.

The problem has become quite a bit more persistent now.. I've tried another monitor that I know works well and that monitor got picture for all of 2 mins and then shut off and said the was "no signal".

I pulled my GPU out and made sure there was no dust on it or in the PCI-E slot.

My monitor and everything worked really well all of last night, played Arma 3 for about 4 hours without a single hiccup!

So, I was looking into the nvidia support and its an issue thats persistent in the 7 series of the GTX cards.. Which it crashes upon start up or shortly there after, also another common issue is screen flickers ever couple of minutes.. I uninstalled the 320.49 drivers (which had initially been the reported problem) and re-installed the drivers that came with the disc in a clean install to insure the old driver were wiped, but the problem kept continuing..

I can start the start the computer in safe mode anytime, because it doesn't use the GPU drivers.. but I have no idea where to go from here..

Does anyone else have these problems?

any insight would be greatly appreciated!
