Random restarts, NIC related?

OK, this happens every couple weeks or so on my new computer. It's running fine...sometimes all day, sometimes I just switched it on... I go to do something, and it restarts. Just now, I was clicking a link and just as I clicked it, the screen went black and it rebooted. Last time(about a week or two ago) I was opening the program for my TV-Tuner. It has been running for about 2 minutes before it reset...

Heat shouldn't be a problem. Nothing seems to get too hot. I don't have anything running in windows, but my Mobo is suppose to set off an alarm or shut down my system if fans/temps/volts get too low/high...

Usally, when this happens, I'm doing something with the network. Most the other times were similar to what happened just tonight(disregarding the one with the tuner)

Might anyone have some ideas about what I should check out? It has NEVER messed up in a game, so I doubt it's related to the power supply... Well, not getting enough power I mean.

i had the same problem once when i was using (PIII) processor. at last i changed the processor with a new one and then everythings was fine. but your processor is Athlon64, but i think you should change ur power supply and see what happens... good luck

Video drivers should be the newest... Um, I'll check the exact version when I'm on it(using my laptop now...)

The powrsupply is a CoolerMaster Purepower 450, or something like that. The ones with the power meeter and all. They are suppose to be some of the top power supplies...

When I read this I first thought of the bios setting "wake on lan" so maybe your computer is thinking it is off and when there is network activity (clicking a link) it is rebooting thinking it is turning on the comp.

I'm guessing it's an onboard ethernet card? If so have you tried putting in a PCI one (if you have one available)? But like said before it COULD be a PSU issue (which might just be a wierd coincidence that it restarts when you do something LAN/Net related), what are your voltages reading after you turn it back on (just check in BIOS).

Yeah, it's onboard LAN... This is why I don't like onboard stuff  I do have room for another card so I can try to stick a spare on in there sometime...

Voltages... More than you probably care about, but they all look very stable to me...
