Random Shut Downs??

Well, I have a custom built PC with:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual
GeForce 7800 GTX
2.21 GHz, 2 gigs of ram: Corsair

and I have random freezing and/or shutdowns which are not resulted in overheating because I have disabled shut downs if over-heating. I checked BIOS and my CPU temp was 29 C and my overall system temp was around 48 C which is relatively cool...yet I am experiencing these errors.
 
Some errors include:

Event ID: 16
Unable to Connect: Windows is unable to connect to the automatic updates service and therefore cannot download and install updates according to the set schedule. Windows will continue to try to establish a connection.

Event ID: 10010
The server {DC0C2640-1415-4644-875C-6F4D769839BA} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

Event ID: 7034
The AVG7 Alert Manager Server service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).

Event ID: 1003
Error code 100000ea, parameter1 88ac8b90, parameter2 8920c950, parameter3 bacdbcbc, parameter4 00000001.

Warnings:

Event ID: 4226
TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts.

Event ID: 1007
Your computer has automatically configured the IP address for the Network Card with network address 0015584FFF81. The IP address being used is 169.254.174.79.
