Random Unexpected shutdown

I just built a new computer and after only a few minutes it would shut down unexpectedly. I did not install an OS yet or anything. Nothing has been doin because of this. Any Ideas?

Put the OS on it and it should be fine.

random shutdowns are usually a bad psu, or memory. I have a great memory stress test called rst.

i think he means it is shutting down WHILE installing an operating system, OR he doesn't even get to that screen b4 it shutsdown?

i would guess some form of non-compatibility or not enough power. really need specs or more detail of problem...or both!

It wont shut down on its own if you don't have an OS installed. It says something like "Operating System not found, insert system disk, press any key to continue..."
