Raspberry pi internet problem

Hi all, apologies if this is in the wrong section, wasn't too sure.

I just got a pi 4 model b 8gb, but for some reason, every time I turn it on, the the internet goes off on the router, I've never experienced this before, and it's destroying me, has anyone else encountered this issue, and have any idea how to rectify it, thanks

Is it connected via an ethernet cable? if so, then its most likely due to bad ethernet connector on the motherboard or there is a short somewhere.

thanks, It's not connected by ethernet, I did try it briefly to see if it solved anything, but then unconnected it again, it did work for about 10 minutes at one point, then the internet went off again
