no sure on cd drive but i don want a burner.
please leave any suggestions are this is my first build. compatibility is hopefully good between all untis.
 
ditch the nvidia chipset as it is no longer future-proof, instead get the GIGABYTE GA-EP35.

instead of that ram, get the OCZ Reaper CL3 pc6400, and instead of the video card get any name-brand ATI 3870 so you can do crossfire later on to boost performance. other then that, i love the power supply, (most important part of a computer, i say, and i also have that 1) processor is great, and so is the case and HDD
 
hmm it must be weird to post my username with a ?... i wonder if i should get it changed.... something to think about i guess lol
 
ok, im going to buy that gts board as it fell in price and the mobo as it was also a possibility for me. i can care less about crossfire in all honesty. im still going with the ballistix mem as it looks the most dependable.
