I know psu amps and watts matter, and you want mroe the 12v rail like 28 or higher. I get kind of confussed on it though, how good is the psu that comes with thet case? I'm getting it so i need to know(I dont care how crappy the case is so dont tell me not to get it becuase its better then what i have now) I'm trying to find the specs on my current psu to compare....I can't seem to find anything on the web about it but i'm going to keep looking. I assume the one that comes with the case is pretty crappy, but im thinking the same thing about the one I have now so I dont know which would be better.

Yeah the PSU is trash: 17A on that 12V line and i bet it'll go down the tube once temps go up

WEll I'll just hope my current one is better because I cant find any specs on it besides its a MGE 400w with 2 built in fans a cool blue lights(thats why i bought it sadly, should have known better then, my thought was "cool blue flashy lights! I'll take it!")

I found out my current power supply only has 18 on the 12v....i think its time for a upgrade lol. Its been able to run my system fine though, how much do you think system preformace could go up ifi upgrade my psu to a nice one?

I even powers all the lights the extra fan 3 harddrives, although not all at once ussaly.

Look at it. Theres a sticker on the PSU (well lets hope so)

LOL PSUS arent like car engines. It more like a good PSU = more OC and yer comp doesnt explode

Well what I "thought" i understood was it can affect perforceane a little, just not much. and i have my celeron D Oced from 2,8ghz to 3.6ghz just like the 2 other guys who live in this house., and one uses the same PSU, for the same blue flashey light reason LOL!

and It did have a sticker on it, it was just retarted and the sticker was up against the cse, so i didn't know it had one, but when i took it off to put in the new case i saw it.

Heh a GOOD psu will go alot further than a BIG (and not so good) psu when it comes to OCing bud :) But now ya know :)

Stock PSU's arnt horrible for computers that dont use the top-of-the-line parts. I thought my stock psu was fine (400W 18A @ +12V), but once i got my new system in the sig i got tons of blue screens, and i got a new aspire 520W and 36A on the +12V and it runs great.

Agreed -- but there's a limit to that: i've seen stock CPUs shipping with 11A on the 12V line and with tolerances of 5% -- which i think is generous :)
