Razer Blackwidow Ultimate Issue?

Its Sage

So, today when I got home from school and woke up my computer, I noticed that the LED's on my Razer Blackwidow Ultimate didn't light up (they were on fine yesterday). I updated Razer Synpase, restarted my computer several times, un-plugged the keyboard and plugged it back in, to no avail.

Even if I go into the Razer Synapse program and try to manually turn on/change the LED, it won't work. Which is bizarre, because it was working fine 24 hours ago. The macro doesn't work as well, although when I hit the macro (fn+F12) it changes the brightness in the software.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I vaguely remember having this problem before, but I forget how I fixed it. If it helps at all, I accidentally started shutting down my computer, so I canceled it. As soon as i cancelled it, the LED's turned off.

Thanks in advance for the help, I appreciate it.

Sounds like the hardware to control the lighting failed. Either the power supply or something else along the line.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend any razer hardware. I've had no end of problems with a Razer keyboard, RMAd it and got a new defective one. It costs more to RMA it a second time than the keyboard did to start with so I just junked it.

Yes. I have never heard anything but problems with Razor products. No matter how many different products you try, you will laways get the same outcome. It sucks, i know.... All the swee LEDs and such, but obviously they cant manufacture loyal hardware. I love the R.A.T. line and have never has a problem. I have an article of the R.A.T. 9 on my website and totally stand behind it. Its hard finding good hardware these days because everyone is trying to make the sickest looking, most advanced stuff... but forgetting quality and durability.
