Razor Vs Creative

Heya

Well it seems from the specs that the mouse has the same fearures as the Razer mouse. However, I am not too sure about the ergonomics of it. The Creative mouse looks like a block and not too comfy for your hand. I bleieve that cannot be said about the Razer. It would be best if you could find someone or some place that has it and try both of them to truly see the difference.

well i try out the creative mouse .. and its just feel so comfortable on it .. and the mouse is veery smooth .. but i didnt try a razor mouse before

wait what razor mouse are you comparing it with? the razor copperhead is better and so is the G5. that creative mouse is only optical with a dpi of 1600 while the copperhead and g5 are laser and dpi of 2000. the razer diamondback or the logitech mx series are probably in the same class and they are far cheaper than the creavtive. your really paying for the Fatality name. also i trust logitech and razor more as they are known to make really good mice.

Yeah

Perhaps I should have mentioned that I was referring to the Diamondback of which I am a sattisfied owner. The new Copperheads are better and use the laser technology for superior results. I would definitely go Razer but I am sure the Creative mouse will not be bad either. I think, however, that it's way overpriced only because of the Fatal1ty name as mentioned above.

I read a lot of reviews about the creative that sead the drivers really mess up the actual performance of the mouse it self

well so currently im looking for a mouse .. for gaming .. any recommend ? something tat is a value buy ..

the logitech G5, logitech G7, or Razer copperhead. the G7 is wireless but its amazing. i have no problems with it and plays great in games. the G5 is very similar but cheaper becuase its wierd and it has adjustable weights. the Copperhead is a good mice but bit moer expensive than the G5&7. it is very similar to the G5 only difference is the design giving it a different feel. I suggest going to a store and finding what feel most comfortable. oh and the G5&7 only for right handers so if your a lefty then the copperhead would be your best choice.

so any suggestion on a most value buy mouse ?
logitech G5- $50
it costs the same as a razer diamondback but the g5 is better in that its 2000dpi compared to 1600dpi and more features.
if you dont want to spend $50 then i suggest the mx518. its only $30 and its similar to the diamonback.

heya

They are both 1600dpi mice with identical specs. They just look different. Go with either of those Razers and you will not make a mistake. I have a diamondback magma, yet if I were to choose again, I would take the 1.6 from Razer...looks so damn pro :-)

Basically to answer all your Razer questions:

Diamondbacks are all 1600dpi and come in different colour variations (Magma - red, Plasma - blue, Chameleon - kinda multicolour)

The newest mice from Razer are the 2000dpi laser Copperheads as well as the Pro 1.6 (1600dpi), which is basically another colour combination of the Copperhead edition of mice
