RCA to VGA

Hey everyone. I was wondering if there is an RCA to VGA adapter? I want to hook up my ps2 or gamecube to a monitor that I have laying around and I was wondering if something like that exists?

Simply put, no. There might be some component out there, but it would be rather costly for very low quality video. Realize RCA is limited to 720x480 interlaced. Standard VGA is non-interlaced and runs at much higher resolutions.

I did a little bit of quick searching and The Other One is exactly right.

It sounds like there may be one workaround using a "Blaze VGA Adapter" but those are extremely hard to find and apparently really buggy. You have to boot off a special CD to get it to run in VGA mode (to get around the interlacing issues theotherone mentioned).

EDIT: If you're feeling creative, http://skygate.bravehost.com/PS2_VGA_cable.html
But you still might run into interlacing/resolution issues.

Ok, well that sucks. I was hoping that they would have something simple that would allow me to do that.
