Re-installing PhotoShop, Lost serial Number

I am re-installing Photoshop E. on another computer but i lost my serial number. I read somewhere that since i still have the program installed on this computer I might be able to find the serial number on my hardrive somewhere. Anyone have any fishing tips?
 
Usually you can only install software on one computer with one license. Contact the maker of the software if you can use the same serial on another computer. Most likely you will have to purchase another license for it.
 
I just got off The phone with two adobe reps after 40 minutes on hold. neither one could help me. They told me to register my old software, So I did. Then they told me they couldn't find my registeration and I will have to buy the newest photoshop E. Too bad for me I don't have that kinda money to throw around
