Hey, Im new to this forum. Im a professional Online poker player so use my laptop all the time. I mainly use it to browse the web and play on the software, aswel as regularly posting on a poker forum. So i dont do a lot of complicated stuff, but recently my laptop has been getting very slow and i feel it is probably just an accumulation of programs and redundant files that are hogging down the ram. Specs for the laptop
Im not excellent at computers but have a slightly better than average knowledge. Iv got the original disks that came with the laptop ("Vista home premium" and "Dell Drivers and Utilities) Just a few questions regarding re-installing.

- 2GB Ram
- 32 Bit Operating System

- Is re-installing vista equivalent to completely wiping the computer?
- Are there any security issues i should be aware of?
- Any other advice when doing a complete wipe?
