so i finally took three old towers apart and grabbed the drives before taking them to the dump.... I purchased a cable to read the drives, works great.
I also trashed a very ancient sony Vaio... I hooked it up to my reader, and it "sees" everything but it is telling me I don't have permission to view this or that.
Question:... is there a way to make that entire drive visible?.... some folders I could open, some i can't. Real PIA
The computer I am using to "look" is running vista...
any hints welcome!
