Ok i picked up a 8gb flash drive and I don't need my old 2gb, so i put it on my second pc and set its ready boost to 1900 mb. MY question is since the pc it's on is only 32bit and already isn't reading the 4gb of ram in will this extra memory from my flash drive not be used?

I think it will because from what i know using ready boost is a faster alternative to page file, says online its 80-100 times faster, but im not sure.

It will use it, i used ready boost on my gaming rig for a while till i got 4gigs of ram, but yes, it doesn't go by the 32bit ram rule i beleive, the computer just goes straight to that flash key oppse to the sluggish HDD. For me, it help very little, if any lol i think it was more mental for me, cause i had 4gigs of rady boost, but idk, its more a gimmic than anything, but if you have
512mb/1gig/1.5gigs and your using vista it will help. 2gigs, is getting to
the point were it doesnt even use it much, cause theres quite a bit of ram to spare.

So putting it on my gaming rig when its in will be pointless? It has 6gb RAM, but don't some games use page file no matter what?

HAHA WOW, dude, 6gigs :O no, don't use it, Heres what happened to me, i installed 4gigs of ram, then i wanted to test if i could get a better 3dmark06 score, with readyboost. I tested it, it came out that with the 4gigs of readyboost in addition to the 4gigs i already had, it made my points go down by 100 :( So that was the last time i used it...
Yes, i do beleive your always using page file, but the results are so minimal, its not noticeable.

I found Ready Boost a joke.

I'm reduced to 1Gig of RAM until my good RAM gets back from RMA.

I was running at 700Mb RAM usage with no programs running.

I put a 4Gig USB stick in a set to Ready Boost.

My RAM usage at idle went up to 850Mb.
