real player on changeable medium

hi,
i want to install the real player on a usb stick to start it from there on an other PC. On the other Pc I don´t have any rights to install the programm.

What do you mean by installing the real player on a USB stick? Do you mean you want to run it from there??? I don't think this will work as some files will be needed that must be installed in the windows or windows/system directory.

The real player is not a stand alone .exe file that you can run anywhere, so I don't think this will work.

If you mean that you want to just copy the original source of the real player to another computer and then install it there from the USB, this is fine and will work ok, but the real player will be installed on the other PC, and will run from their not from your USB stick.

i want to run the USB - Stick.
on the other PC i don´t have any rights to install a programm or start a SETUP - Exe !!
can´t i copy the file from my sytem directory to the other PC and what´s with the registry. Do somebody know which files i need to copy ?!?

This might not work as well, you will have to install the program on the other PC. Copying the system files and the registry values won't work because these are 2 different PCs and the registry of the windows is almost unique for every PC, so I don't think it will work, plus it will be a lot of headache and time consumption.

Why don't you try to install the free version of the real player there, do what you want and then let it go??? This wil solve you the problem.
 
hi,
the PC i´m speaking from is an school PC.
On that PC i don´t have any system rights to install a programm but i want to use the real player on that PC and so i don´t know what to do.
