Real Player

I just installed real player and i am having problems. I open the file that i want to play, and my computer just freezes. I tried a second file, but the same thing happened. I have also tried real alternative, but still the same problem. Any suggestions?

what are your system specs and what os are you running?

have no idea why it should crash. does the realplayer program run when you load it? i assume youve tried reinstalling it.

doesnt load when i startup, tried re installing it. just an odd problem.

Sounds like the Pc rather than the software. Have u looked at the processes that are running?? When ur using Real Player. 2 me sounds like to much going on in ur RAM. But with 512MB, u eiither r running sh*t loads of things or u have a nice virus called FRED*.

I'd run an anti-virus 2 b safe.
