Just upgraded dsl to 10mb package :D I am getting 8.6mbps down and 700up can you say SMOKING FAST? Lets see cable do that and I am only paying 59.95 a month :D !
 
well when you consider 5mbps here is what you automatically get standard so other premium packages are way faster.
 
your on 10Mb is still alot, thinking i hae a 1.5Mb connection, soon to be 3Mb if i ever phone up NTL to sort out the problem
 
*is jealous* the fastest thing we can get here is 3mb cable and it's 60 a month...and i'll be getting 1.5 for 45. lol. 'course in my hometown, because of how rural it is and the phone company is the ONLY one in the area, we pay 45 bucks a month for a 256-=Kbs=-
line. 120 a month for a "T1" which isn't really a T1...to slow...consider yourselves LUCKY.
 
In the next few years everything is going fiber optic and we should see speeds aproaching 30mb to put that a laymens terms we will be able to download a 2hour movie in less that 2 minutes!
 
I don't think we will need to download movies to your hard drive, you will just burn them to your DVD online directly from the website you are downloading from :D
 
Heyy that aint fair :( lol i've only got 512k but its getting upgraded to 1MB no extra charge, and plus over here its hard to get an ISP most are really cheap and fast but have a dam download limit/allownce which is really shit! so i just stuck with AOL no limits i guess there ok but i know people say they do have problems with it lol and i am sometimes, ah well.

lol, UK sucks for broadband, i got 1.5Mb NTL cable with no cap for 6 months then its 1GB a day or 60GB a month, i need to check. AOL have that crappy browser which i hate, other than that. they're respectable
