i managed to break one of the plastic legs when removing the stock i3 socket lga1156 cooler.

as it's the only pc in the house, i have to write all this from an iphone which is most annoying.

motherboard is foxconn h55ms and has a stock backplate mounted with weird bolts and threadlocker, not screws.
so whatever cooler i get has to have a backplate that fits around it as the stock one is impossible to remove unfortunally without damaging the board.

also the board is micro atx in a small case,so only a low profile cooler would fit.

if it fits over the stock backplate.... im thinking the coolermaster gemini ii m4 would be a good cooler.

any others that would fit, please help.

having no working computer and typing with a mobile really is getting on my nervs.

max budget for cooler about £35, as i still need to get arctic silver paste and arctic clean.

Thermalright true spirit 140, cm hyper+ or evo, scythe mine 2, artic cooler 13. All good coolers for the price, but I don't know if they support micro-atx.
the one you looked up is also good.

I have a Scythe Shuriken in my Micro-ATX HTPC build, and so far it's been a great cooler. It's also insanely quiet, which is a bonus for me. At Idle, I'm only down ~5 degrees over the Intel stock cooler, which isn't anything to brag about, but it's pretty decent IMO for a low-profile heatsink. Make sure that your case can fit the cooler width-wise, because it's a bit wide. Also, you would probably have to do some modifying to get it to work with a backplate; I think it's possible, though, since I did it with some spare screws on my LGA775 Kingwin RVT-12025D.

also the xigmatek praeton ld964 looks great and doesnt look like it would get in the way of my stock back plate. as it just has bolts to secure it accordung to a youtube vid ive seen.

a few others i could consider would be the zalman cnps8900 extreme.

and the coolermaster vortex plus.
