Really need advice, MSI vs. ASUS

Guys, I need a new mobo for my new 4000+ (hopefully). It will have everything you see in my sig, just w/ 4000+ instead of P4. I have 2 mobos selected, anyone wanna give advice as to which one is better? money isn't a problem between these two, and if there is another 1000Mhz AMD 64 bus speed AGP board, I'm up for suggestions. Which chipset is better too, the nForce3, or that VIA on the ASUS. These are the two boards: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813130514

Hands down without a doubt in the world, the MSI board. They are both solid boards and will suit you for just-sit-there-and-work machines but since money isnt an issue here (so i didnt bother looking at prices, just model numbers), the NF3 is a vastly superior chipset to the K8T800Pro. I've had the chance to run both boards with various setups and the MSI board offered quite a bit more performance :)

Alright thanks. Besides those two, are there any other 939 1000Mhz bus AGP boards there that would perform better than the msi?

EDIT: Also, how much performance boost, mainly for gaming, am I gonna see with the 4000+ replacing the 3.0E?

The MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum although finding it may be difficult :)

One-and-a-half boatloads. And I mean cargo containers :P

On a more serious note: why the 4000? The 3800 and 4000 run the same clock with the 4000 having an extra 512K cache -- but then again AMD procs have never been cache-bound ... I might suggest you reconsider the proc choice and save some money :)

So what is the extra 512Kb Cache improve, exactly. What difference would I see? Plus, I want a San Deigo, but they only make 3700+ and 4000+

EDIT: What about the X2 3800+ vs. the 64 4000+?
