Reapplying 8800GT Thermal Paste

Anything I need to know before I do this? I've seen this done plenty of times on CPU's and GPU's but I've never done it. I'm using AS5. I've heard people say that it is better to use ceramic because it is less conductive, is there much risk in using AS5? And I know the 8800GT uses styrofoam-like material to cool the memory. I was wondering how beneficial it would be to just add a dab on each RAM module when I reinstall the heatsink, probably not too much of a hassle though. Thanks!

I used AC5 on my 8800GT and it worked perfectly fine (with an after market cooler though). Just make sure the heatsink still has contact with the chips without the styrofoam things.

Wait, without the styrofoam things?

Like . . . these things
