can i link up a rear projector tv up to my computer instead of a monitor is this possible and also when you have surround sound on a computer does it work properly when watching dvds like when the car comes from behind will the sound come out of the rear speakers like on a normal tv surround sound

if you have a vidio caard with tv out then you can hook up any tv with a tv in port.
and if you are watching a movie the only way it will be in surround sound is if your soundcard is the same as or better then your speskers. ie i have a 4.1 sound card but 5.1 speakers so i have no sound to my center channel.
