Rebaselining a Laptop With RAID 0 Setup?

Hello,

I have a laptop that currently has no operating system. I'm trying to install Windows and right after the user agreement screen it seems Windows is unable to identify any drives. I'm thinking I either need to install some kind of RAID driver or one of the hard drives is dead (thus the computer is saying 2 hard drives that look like one should be here, but there aren't so Windows can't see any hard drives). If I need to install a RAID driver how would I do that on a laptop that has no floppy drive (most laptops only have a DVD burner / reader / everything else these days)? How do I verify if one of the drives is in fact dead? Thanks!

during early setup there is an option like press f3 or third party hdd drivers. Basically you need to press that add provide the drivers on a floppy (borrow an external if you dont have one)

So it's required to have a RAID driver in order for Windows to recognize the hard drives? I was under the impression a external floppy (come on Windows, external floppy is a little dated isn't it) would required yet another driver. If one of the hard drives went out would it have to be the same model in order to work correctly?

If you get an external USB floppy (which is like the only kind) Windows isnt installed, so your USB hubs wont have drivers and wont operate.
