Reboot from CD won't work?

I just recently burned a Windows 7 reboot cd to restore my computer completely. Every time i restart my computer it was just stop at

Boot from CD:_
(the _ will just blink)

Then it goes to a blank screen with a _ top left and just starts windows normally again. My BIOS are set, my first priority is the optical drive (CD/DVD) so i'm not quite sure what the problem is...

I also don't receive a message asking me to "to press a key to boot to the disc."

How did you create this burned CD? Sounds like its not bootable.

However you made the boot CD, make another copy and this time go in and make sure the option to make the disc bootable is selected.
