Rebuilding Computer

I am trying to rebuild a really old computer to acceptable working condition, i don't have a particular use for this computer, like gaming or something. What are the most important parts to change out (ie. Proccesor, Graphics Controller, etc.)? Thanks in advance for your help.

there is nothing really wrong with it it's just old and slow, My budget is as low as humanly possible to get the job done.

i think that should handle your non specificized usage and is very budget friendly, together under $200.
