reccomend me a cpu cooler guys?

Hey guys ive been lately getting into the ocing zone and want my q6600 go further. Ive been using the zalman 9700 cooler and performs adequate in reviews, i was wandering whats an awesome cooler i can get that isnt very fancy with the lighting and keeps temps down great, and also around the 60-85 AUD budget. Any suggestions will be awesome thanks guys!

the 9700 is one of the best. If its not working well, you never put it on correctly, or you never put thermal paste properly...

Actually ive done the most you can out of the 9700 if its one of the best then ill stick with it, im just pretty sure theres something better if not then any that can be recommended? The cooler does not matter to me, im thinking of something like a Noctua NH-U12P, i want the most out of my rig, im trying to get the core as low possible but not watercooling just that i cant be bothered with measuring etc. I just don't like the fancy light it has also im giving it to my friend he will need for his comp.

Go with a thermalright extreme 120.

Or a xigmatek S1283 with the bolt thru kit, .2c higher temps than the ultra 120 extreme according to the tests ive seen on most websites, and thats pretty much in the margin of error. Plus the xigmatek is less than half the price of the thermalright

The Tuniq Tower is pretty hard to come across over here in Australia. Go for the Thermalright Xtreme 120, or the xigmatek S1283 if you can manage to find it.

Im not sure if pccasegear ships to Australia, if so those are great prices! thanks for the links mate appreciate em! Also yea those Tuniq Tower LEDs are hard to come but those things are awesome im picking them up straight away not matter the price haha but yea thanks once again guys!
