Is it possible for pornographic files to show up in the recent documents files without actually using them? My girlfriend found porn in the recent documents on my computer but I didn't download them or anything. I do have limewire and I haven't had virus protection for quite a while. I told her that through limewire and just from surfing, omeone can get into the computer and place things pretty much wherever they want. Can someone confirm that it is possible I didn't do it?

I would tell your girlfriend to get over it. It's not her computer, and she has no business asking you about that anyways.

i was also going to say that, but incase you were going to use this thread as a "hey look, even the computer geek forum thinks that it could have happened" kinda thing, i really didnt wanna say that.
truth is, if she is snooping around your computer, tell her its none of her business

That is possible. Anything that you download from LimeWire is stored in an incomplete file folder somewhere, for me it is on my desktop. No matter what I download, if I do not let it complete, the file that is being downloaded, or the part of it I should say, like the 23 percent of it, shows up in this incomplete file, and if you try to preview what you are downloading using the preview button, windows media player automatically opens that file and plays it, which makes it show up in your recent documents folder. Just delete your recent documents as often as you can. I do that all the time, and it works just fine for me. I would also suggest putting a password on your computer so that your GF can't get into it whenever she wants to. LOL- just a thought.
