Recently uninstalled Lexmark Printer Utility

Hi,

i have recently uninstalled a program on my computer called Lexmark Printer utility. Now when my computer starts up it displays the desktop and everything but then comes up with an error that says cannot start lexstart rc=5. Other than that it works fine. Does anyone know how to get rid of this error.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you have a lexmark printer, I would suggest you reinstall the software. If you don't have a lexmark printer, just go into msconfig utility and uncheck the appropriate line for that item.

It worked out perfect. Although i had windows 2000 which doesn't come with msconfig utility i copied the files for that program off an xp computer, put them on my Windows 2000 computer and it worked out great. Thanks for the help.
