hey guys,
I was wondering if you guys knew an easy way to recharge an LED light? do i need to take it apart to reverse the current?

Um....led light? Are you talking about the led light flash lights? Cause you cant recharge an led...

yeah u know when a LED light gets dim you can reverse the current and it will widen the blah blah gap between the two surfaces that makes up the diode and then when you use it again it will be bright :) but i was wondering if there is an easy way to do this..

I have never heard of this and I dont think it is possible, besideds how are you gunna open the led. Cant you just spend 5cents for a new one.

dont wanna wident the gap to much cuz if u reverse a current ya gotta do it percise other wise u'll short the LED out, its getting dim u should just replace it instead of running thrugh the hassle of electrocution

lol well i wont get electrocuted using DC power :) but you may be right about needing the correct voltage and the like spidermonkey. Its one of those usb lights and it would be like $15 to buy a new one.. id rather skrew around with it to try to fix it, besides i enjoy that kinda thing...

i heard of that, we used to do that in my electrical systems class.

i dont think you need to take it apart, just change the direction of current.
if you do it too long with too high voltage you'll kill it.
