Recomend on a good dvd to VCD software

I need a fast dvd to vcd converter software, i used to have this dvd ripper program that takes almost a day to rip the dvd into vcd. anyone can recomend a good and fast dvd ripper software

yes they all claim to be good, i need a review from those who do not sell them.

Those are hard to come by as a rule. The reviews are usually geared to favor a sponsor. One of the best methods for vcd projects is to have an mpeg or mpeg II file on the drive for use of a program that burns vcds as well as dvds. Another thing to note is length. If the dvd is over an hour's length you won't be able to burn any high quality vcd if the software allows for a slower writing speed.

Well that's half the problem when trying to recommend a program where it's free to try out as a shareware but..... you know the rest. Sometimes you have to go through a ton of both freewares and sharewares before you find one that will work the way you want it to.

it's freewares pros.
and full version softwares cons.
actually i do not believe in free/share wares at all.
when u are buying something u can get any information from support team
or from product owner company's homepage.
besides there i no responsible if ur pc crashes.
whenas software are salled with guarantees.
anyway, that's just me own opinion.
