Recommend Monitor

~200$ budget
Looking >22", but I'd like >24" if possible
Asus seems to have some of the best ones for the price.
Built-in speakers and other stuff don't matter, I just want a screen.

Just give me recommendations and a reason why it's better than other choices... the simpler the better :)

just go to newegg and do a power search for the ''s you want and max price as 220 for mir's, and sometime's there'll be something for like 5 more and you miss out on it otherwise, but also check 1920x1020/80 or whatever so it's 1080p, and then pick what you like, and see if it's reviewed well preferably.
 
I agree with all mostly for most users. I have dual 24" Samsung Synmasters as my preference. Have Philips, Sony that work fine. Ya do have to consider the definition though or resolution. Find one ya like. Love the wide screen like the Samsung mentioned. That was my first.
 
All the monitors which I liked are a couple of bucks over budget but they are also close to 24".
