I want to find a mobo that will accommodate a Core2 Quad that:
-Is good for OC'ing a C2Q. Apparently not all boards that accept a C2Q are equal for OC'ing.
-Has PCIe 2.0 slots
-Has 3 or more PCI slots.
-Has at least one IDE header, two would be better.
I currently have a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L which has 3 PCI slots but has PCIe 1.0 and apparently isn't great for OC'ing a C2Q.
I want to stay in the Core2 Quad realm because it's cheaper than the current gen of i-whatever and is fast enough to do what I want - video editing and moderately demanding games - say on the order of Battlefied 3, Medal Of Honor Warfighter.
Any suggestions?
