i guess this thread has to do with cooling. Anyone know of a really REALLY cheap 5'12'' bay fan controller? I mean like bottem of the line. Perferably have 4 channels.

lol i'm in china, everythings cheap here. Gonna go check out the giant mahanga computer store tomorrow, see if i can pick up some cheap fan stuff. I've got my list already:

the one from xioide is looks like the better deal. And its really cool with how the lights change based on the speed on the fan. I am looking at that for myself.

you said possibly 400watt, you wanna make sure what ampage your getting on that 12v rail before you buy it. Post on here if your not sure.
Yes there probably is a fan controller that can do that but not in any of the really cheap ones. You could however turn it right the way down to like 15rpm, that would be almost like it turning off.

i'm looking for a 400watt psu that has about 18-24 amp on the 12v rail, is that sufficient? And i'm just gonna go for the cheapest thing today. How slow does the fan spin when its set at 6v-7v ish?

got an awesome deal on a fan controller. It's a 3'25'' one but it was cheap. 4 fan controls and all have range of off to high (yes it can turn a fan off too 
) and it only cost 12 dollars. WOOHOO. Also bought a bright blue cold cathode light with 2 tubes. Gonna put one on the bottem and one on the back side of case. An airduct, nothing flashy, and a couple of optical mice. I'm a happy camper today
