Hi,
i just ordered an s939 4200+ and i just wondered if anyone could recommend me a good motherboard.

I'd like to spend between £100-£150GBP

I'd like to use the graphics card i've got a the moment, so ideally the board should be for an AGP card (the card is an ati radeon 9600(as im not really big into games and graphics)).

Any recommendations?

Thanks
Mike

after thinking about it, is the use of the agp card limiting on finding a board (or a better one)?

Thanks

Yes, it does limit the options greatly. If you decide to go with PCI-E graphics, I would get this motherboard. It IMO, is one of the best motherboards it is price range.

This would be a decent card for you to get at a decent price.

if he's not big on games or graphics then why bother with replacing your video card? i don't think pci-e or agp decides if the board is good or not to do the thing you want it to do...if you're not gaming then just about any board that supports your processor socket and agp with a decent chipset will be fine

As i said, im not big on games on the pc (as ive got an xbox360 and psp) but i would like to play the occasional new title if i possible, so if going the pci graphics route is the better option i dont mind spending the extra money.

Thanks
