recommended virus protection?

Hi i want to purchase virus protection for my computer. I am willing to pay a one time fee, or one time fee every year but not monthly.

I have no experience with virus protection and would like to get the best protection i can get for the buck.

i do not want to use microsoft security essentials because i have a non genuine copy of windows ultimate that i am using for my computer.

Since you mentioned that you have a pirated copy, I doubt anyone will help you.
