record streaming viideo from windows media player

Is there any free software about to record streaming media files from windows meadia player?

Im sure ive been able to do this in the past but cant remember how

FRAPS(I think that's right) has the capability, but I think it gives you a watermark untill you register it. If you have a capture card and TV-Out, you could always just capture it though your TV-Out, but the quality is dropped a good bit.
